Our commitment

TPT Cigar Log is committed to making our app usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We design and build our iOS, Android, and web experiences to support the accessibility features built into your device, and we continue to improve with each release.

VoiceOver and screen readers

Every interactive element has a descriptive label so VoiceOver on iOS and iPadOS, TalkBack on Android, and screen readers on the web can announce what each control does. Rating stars, navigation tabs, icon buttons, and form fields all include accessibility labels and state indicators (such as "selected" and "pressed") so you always know what is active.

Dynamic Type and text sizing

The app respects your system-level text size on iPhone and iPad. You can also adjust text size directly within the app — open Settings and use the Text Size slider to choose Small, Default, Large, or Extra Large. Your choice is saved to your profile and applied every time you use the app, overriding the system setting without affecting other apps.

Reduced motion

If you enable Reduce Motion in your device's accessibility settings, the app automatically disables page transitions, dialog animations, and other motion effects. Content appears instantly without sliding or fading, so the interface stays comfortable for users sensitive to movement.

Touch targets and contrast

All primary buttons and navigation tabs meet or exceed the 44×44 point minimum touch target recommended by Apple. We use a warm, high-contrast color palette throughout the app to keep text legible against its backgrounds, and we avoid conveying information by color alone.

Photos and images

Decorative images are hidden from screen readers, and meaningful images include descriptive alternative text where applicable. User-uploaded photos for reviews and posts are presented with context labels so screen reader users understand what is being shown.

Known limitations

• Some community-generated content (free-text posts and comments) may not be fully described by screen readers beyond the author and text.
• The barcode scanner requires camera access and may be difficult to use without sighted assistance; manual entry is always available as an alternative.
• We are continuously auditing and improving accessibility with each release.
