Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TPT Cigar Log ("we," "us," or "the app"), a private digital journal for rating, tracking, and curating your personal cigar collection and tasting experiences. By creating an account or using the app on iOS, Android, or the web, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Eligibility

The app is intended for adults of legal smoking age in their jurisdiction. By using the app, you represent that you are of legal age to purchase and consume tobacco products where you live, and that you will only record cigars you are legally permitted to possess. We do not knowingly allow minors to use the app.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
• You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings within the app.
• One account per person; sharing or transferring accounts is not permitted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to promote the sale of tobacco to minors.
• Post abusive, harassing, hateful, or misleading content on the social wall or in messages.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to access another user's private journal, humidor, or messages.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the app's servers or infrastructure.
• Use the app to advertise or sell products without our permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the reviews, tasting notes, humidor entries, photos, posts, and messages you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, display, and process Your Content solely to operate the app's features for you. Your private journal and humidor data remain visible only to you; social content is visible only to the participants you share it with. You may delete Your Content or your entire account at any time.

Tobacco & health disclaimer

Cigar smoking carries serious health risks, including cancer, heart disease, and nicotine dependence. The app is a personal journaling tool and does not provide medical advice, encourage tobacco use, or guarantee the accuracy of any user-submitted ratings or product information. You assume all responsibility for your decision to smoke and for any health consequences. If you wish to quit, consult a healthcare professional.

Subscriptions & payments

If the app offers paid features or subscriptions, purchases are processed by the platform's payment provider. Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your device's store settings. Refunds, where applicable, are governed by the store's refund policy.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if your activity harms the app or other users, or as otherwise required to protect the service. Upon termination, your right to use the app ends, and your data will be removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that user-submitted product information is accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, or for any health consequences related to tobacco use.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
